How do I cancel my Mutual subscription?

Currently, there are three ways to purchase a mutualUp subscription, and so there are three ways to cancel a mutualUp subscription. You can purchase a subscription via Apple's App Store, Google's Play Store, and Mutual's own website. We will go over how to cancel all three types of subscriptions in this article.


Apple

To cancel a subscription made via Apple's App Store:

  1. Go to your iPhone's Settings app
  2. Tap your name (Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases)
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Tap "Mutual"
    1. If you don't see a Mutual subscription listed then make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple account
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  6. If you don’t see the option to Cancel the subscription is already canceled and won't renew

Android

  1. Tap here to view your Google account's Subscription page
    1. If you don't see a Mutual subscription listed then make sure that you're signed in with the correct Google account
  2. Tap "Mutual"
  3. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  4. The status of this Subscription will change from "Subscribed" to "Canceled" to indicate that your subscription was successfully canceled.

Mutual's Website

This subscription was purchased from our website. These purchases are not run through the App Store, so you cannot cancel them as you would an Apple/Android subscription. You have to cancel through our subscription portal. To do so:

  1. Log in to our Mutual Account Manager
  2. At the bottom of your account page tap “Cancel Subscription”
    1. If you don't see a Mutual subscription listed then make sure that you're signed in with the correct Mutual account
  3. A window will pop up. Tap “Cancel Subscription” again to confirm the cancellation
  4. Your subscription renewal date will now be listed as “Subscription Canceled”
