Delayed Response: The keyboard appears but has a noticeable delay in typing.

Glitches and Freezing: The keyboard behaves erratically or freezes, making it hard to type.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
To try to resolve these issues, please try the following in the order that they are listed:
- Try upgrading your OS if you have an upgrade available. You can follow this guide to do this: https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en
- Try using a different keyboard. Here is a list of third-party keyboards you can find in the Google Play store that are free to use:
- Gboard
- Microsoft SwiftKey
- AnySoftKeyboard
- Simple Keyboard
Once you have installed a new keyboard app, you must select it in settings. To change your keyboard on Android, go to Settings > System settings > Keyboard and input method > Current keyboard and choose the keyboard (the steps might differ a little depending on your phone).
