Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

To try to resolve these issues, please try the following in the order that they are listed:

1. Try upgrading your OS if you have an upgrade available. You can follow this guide to do this: https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en
2. Try using a different keyboard. Here is a list of third-party keyboards you can find in the Google Play store that are free to use:
   1. Gboard
   2. Microsoft SwiftKey
   3. AnySoftKeyboard
   4. Simple Keyboard

Once you have installed a new keyboard app, you must select it in settings. To change your keyboard on Android, go to Settings > System settings > Keyboard and input method > Current keyboard and choose the keyboard (the steps might differ a little depending on your phone).
