How do I change my login method?

Facebook>Phone Number

If you can no longer log in to Mutual with your Facebook account, then we can migrate your account to your phone number!

For us to perform this migration, please do the following:

1. Attempt to log in to Mutual with your current number. This should give you the error "Couldn't Find Your Account."
2. Tap "Choose another sign-in option" to avoid creating a new account (if you accidentally create a new account, that is okay. know that the new account you just created will be deleted and replaced by your original account once the migration process is complete).
3. Close the Mutual app. Your attempt to log in has added your phone number to our database. This is vital for us to perform this account migration.
4.  Email us at support@mutual.app with the email address tied to your Facebook account and phone number.
5. For security purposes, we sometimes request a photo ID to confirm your identity. A driver's license, student ID, library card, or any other ID with your name and picture on it will do just fine.

Apple ID>Phone Number

If you can no longer log in to Mutual with your Apple ID, we can migrate your account to your phone number! 

For us to perform this migration, you must create the sign-in method.

1. Attempt to log in to Mutual with your current number. This should give you the error "Couldn't Find Your Account."
2. Tap "Choose another sign-in option" to avoid creating a new account (if you accidentally create a new account, that is okay. know that the new account you just created will be deleted and replaced by your original account once the migration process is complete).
3. Close the Mutual app. Your attempt to log in has added your phone number to our database. This step is essential for us to change your login method.
4. Email support@mutual.app with the email address tied to your Apple ID and your current phone number
5. In some instances, for security purposes, we will request a photo ID to confirm your identity. A driver's license, student ID, library card, or any other ID with your name and picture on it will do just fine.
