Experiencing A Bug?

Sometimes things aren’t working perfectly on Mutual, and you need some help! In this situation, your best bet is to contact us directly at support@mutual.app. Your inquiry is called a “ticket.” It’s through tickets that our support team can communicate with you and help you find a solution to your problem.

A Few Things To Try Before You Contact Support

Before we go into more detail on “tickets,” let’s explore some things you can do yourself that might resolve your problem!

  • Make sure that your phone has its latest software installed
  • Try deleting and reinstalling the Mutual app
  • Try restarting your phone
  • Try restarting your internet router (the box that controls your internet)
  • Try using your cellular data or a different source of Wi-Fi

These are the most common solutions to problems within the Mutual app, so always be sure to try them!

What to do If You Can't Solve Your Problem on Your Own

If you've already tried everything and nothing has helped, then please get in touch with us so that we can investigate further! To contact us:

  1. From within the app, navigate to your account page
  2. Tap Help and FAQ
  3. Tap either Email or Chat to send us a message

To ensure we have all of the info we need, please be prepared to provide us with the following details of your situation:

  • The first and last name associated with your account
  • Any email associated with your account
  • What type of phone do you have?
  • What software version is that phone's operation system running on? For more info on Apple devices, tap here. For more info on Android devices, tap here.
  • What is the problem you are experiencing?
  • When did it first happen?
  • How many times has it happened?
  • What have you tried to fix the problem?
  • Can you provide us with applicable screenshots and/or screen recordings of this issue?
