Purchasing a subscription from our website as a gift means that you are purchasing an inactive subscription that will only begin once it has been redeemed. You do not need to log into your Mutual account to purchase it. Instead, you will instead receive an email with a promo code. Redeem this code at any time to begin the subscription. As the name implies, this is intended to be sent as a gift to someone you know that uses Mutual. Simply forward them the promo code email, and they can easily add this gift subscription to their account.

However, you can also use a gift purchase on yourself if you want to take advantage of the discounted price, but you do not wish to activate premium right away.
